LAST DAY !!!!

Nothing sucks more than going out on the last day and not seeing a dam thing. But all you can do is hope for better luck next year.I always say that but it never happens. Go out and scout the month be for you hunt that way you know where all the deer have been. I rather know where they are then were they aren't.

Trying somthing diffent

Almost every time my brother and I go out in the woods to hunt we head to our own spot. But as it turns out we are not the only ones that hunt there. All season we have hunted out in one area. and have had much susses. Until five other different guys head in the same area. so for the last week we chnged it up and went off in to new grounds. We did not shoot the big one but saw lots of sines that theres good hunting in this new spot.

shot vs slug

The best thing to have when your out in the woods is to have shoot i use oo buck and seems to be good for close distances and hits pretty good. If you had a rifle barrel then you would be able to have a better shot farther away. although slugs may do more damage oo gets mare area coverd. Passing up the lil one

The first snow storm of the year. Head out in the woods its quite not to cold or windy every thing is still.Walking throw the snow its over my boots trying not to make noise as I step down in to the snow. Stopping every few feet looking listening hoping to see move meant out in the distance. After an hour I finely see a doe jump and walk off not very fast it wasn't scared i was for sure it would have ran off. It hasn't seen me yet. I take a big sweeping turn around it and sneak up on it about 50 ft away. I could have a shoot right now but ill wait till latter maybe a buck will come along. So i sit down and watch it eat out in the field. Its getting dark out and soon i wont be able to see. I decided to go home and pass up a doe i have a few more days and rather have a buck instead of a doe makes the hole experience better.

Early in the morning the sun just getting ready to rise over the mountain, and my ass is still in bed. I tend not to get up early and go out hunting. I like getting up eating a big breakfast laying around and plan a day for good white tail.
